Committees for National Region’s Collections of Hungarian Values Abroad

The Hungarian Permanent Conference (MÁÉRT) can set up a National Region’s Collection of Hungarian Values Abroad and establish a Committee for National Region’s Collection of Hungarian Values Abroad in charge of the identification of the national values located beyond the borders and the establishment of the collection containing the data of national values available beyond the borders and the forwarding of such data to the Hungarikum Committee.

For the purpose of identification of values of Hungarians abroad, establishment and maintenance of the National Region’s Collection of Hungarian Values Abroad and forwarding of such data to the Collection of Hungarian Values, the Hungarian Permanent Conference can appoint an institute, an organization, or an organizational unit run by a state, county municipal, church or social organ operating beyond the borders and previously involved in the identification and management of national values. Each national region can run only one Committee for National Region’s Collection of Hungarian Values Abroad.
The establishment of Committees for National Region’s Collections of Hungarian Values Abroad is still in progress.

Committee for Collection of Hungarian Values in Croatia
Committee for Collection of Hungarian Values in Transmurania
Committee for Collection of Hungarian Values in Subcarpathia
Committee for Collection of Hungarian Values in Vojvodina
Committee for Collection of Hungarian Values in Burgenland
