The Hungarikum Committee’s work is supported by professional, departmental committees.

The departmental committees have a consultative, advisory and decision-supporting role. They can prejudge and suggest a recommended value to be submitted to the Collection of Hungarikums or the Collection of Hungarian Values by the Hungarikum Committee, and have the right to bring the petitioner’s attention to supplement or change the recommendation’s content.
