The Hungarikum trademark is not a certification mark, so it does not certificate the quality of values and services submitted as Hungarikums. According to the legal regulation, the Hungarikum trademark is made for the representation of the Hungarikum Committee’s activity, and the promotion of the Collection of Hungarikums’ elements.

Right of use of the Hungarikum trademark is granted by the Ministry of Agriculture for those Hungarikum owners and maintainers, who have requested it. 

The minister in charge of agriculture is responsible for the market launch and promotion of the Hungarikum trade mark.
