Anyone is allowed to make a suggestion for a value to be submitted as Hungarikum, but it is hihgly recommended to do so by the original petitioner who has already suggested this vaue to the regional or municipal collection of values and to the Hungarian Repository of Values. If a national value is admitted to the  Hungarian Repository of Values and the petitioner wishes it to become a Hungarikum, then a recommendation has to be submitted to the Committee for Hungarikums by filling out the corresponding standard form.
